Smart Bolus ("the App") is developed by Abdulrahman Alfantokh ("Developer"). This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data Collection

Smart Bolus does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Specifically, the App:

• Does not require an account or registration
• Does not collect personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Does not collect health or medical data beyond what is stored locally on your device
• Does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies
• Does not connect to the internet or communicate with any external servers
• Does not use third-party services or SDKs that collect data

3. Data Storage

All data you enter into the App — including profiles, insulin parameters, time segments, and calculation history — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's built-on local storage (SwiftData).

This data is never uploaded, synced, or sent anywhere outside your device.

4. Data Retention

Calculation history is automatically deleted after 7 days. Profile data remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App entirely.

5. Data Sharing

The Developer does not have access to any data you enter into the App. Since no data is transmitted externally, there is nothing to share with third parties, advertisers, or any other entity.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is designed to be used by individuals managing diabetes, including parents managing multiple children's insulin profiles. The App does not collect any data from children or any other users. There is no age gate, account creation, or data collection mechanism.

7. Security

Since all data stays on your device and is never transmitted, the security of your data depends on the security of your device itself. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping your iOS/iPadOS updated.

8. Third-Party Links

The App does not contain links to external websites, third-party services, or advertisements.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes in the future, the updated version will be made available within the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
